The other day at work an older foreign man who spoke rough to little English needed help understanding what to do with his prescriptions. After about 10 minutes of explaining he finally understood and repeated back to me what to do with each. He was grateful to make sense of America and it's health insurance and in his thick accent said, "Thank you, thank you very much. You know you are a very charming. A very, very charming." I started laughing, realizing earlier that same week another older foreign man, with an accent, had told me the exact same thing and complimented me that my face was disarming. I had a good laugh and smiled the rest of day. Now on to younger men...maybe with an accent.
